An owner since 1999 then later a breeder, Karen has been passionate about the Mastino since the early 1990's, her experience with the breed had been previously limited to UK bred Neapolitan's, however, on moving to France she travelled across Europe to Italy with fellow enthusiast Phillip Thompson to meet famous breeders based in Napoli, the home of the breed. There she met and collected 2 puppies from Santino Ardolino a reknowned and life long experienced "Mastinari" as in him she found the "breeder" she had been looking for...
